History Loves Family
By now, everyone from around these parts knows that the Lamy’s building has been in the Swearingen family since 1912. We tried to do the math and figured that roughly 4 generations of our family have worked within these walls we call Lamy’s.
Sweat, blood, and tears have spilled within these walls. Though, more often than not, laughter, joy, and fellowship trump any of the trials our family has endured.
Family Loves Friends
This past week, we were able to bring an extra special touch to this place we love so dear. A Virginia Moss pop-up dinner had us cooking, serving, bartending, seating, and more with those we love so dearly. It was beyond special to have our children, friends, and family gathered in one place–this place–that we love so much.
We come to work each day with YOU in mind. You’re a part of our extended family and you are what makes this place so special. We change our menu often, keep up with the latest and greatest offerings from behind the bar, and work to make sure Josey Records has all the Oldies and Newbies that you desire.
Thanks for being a part of our family. We look forward to the many new generations that will grace these halls. There’s always a space for you here. Bring your family, bring your friends. After all, history loves company.
