History Loves Repeating

Have you ever noticed how often history truly repeats itself? We’re looking at you, bell bottom jeans and mullets. In some ways, repetition isn’t a great thing, but in other ways, it’s honestly the best thing. At Lamy’s, we believe repeating what’s good is what keeps ya coming back.

Knowing your favorites are on the menu each month is like receiving a really long hug from a really good friend. And that’s a feeling we never want you to be without. Who are we to take away your hugs?! So, as we prepare to roll out our fall menu in a month or so, know that we take into account all those feelings.

You’ll find repeats of those tried and true classics you love–hello, goat cheese croquettes! But you’re also going to be introduced to new friends that have the potential to be huggers in your life–we can’t let the info slip out on this yet. But, don’t let this scare you. Is there such thing as too much hugging? We think not.

Repeating Loves Music

Just like history repeats itself in fashion, food, and fun; it also tends to bring back and repeat certain types of music. What we love the most about Josey Records is that if we aren’t a fan of what’s current, we easily have thousands of other choices available to us.

But what we also love about Josey Records is that our playlists are created to introduce you to some new stuff, that you likely wouldn’t hear of if you weren’t at Josey’s or inside the Lamy’s building. Basically, it’s safe to say we are sending you subliminal messages via our speakers. Nothing to fear–this is just a fancy way of getting you to love different kinds of music. We aren’t trying to send you secret messages–mostly because we’ve not figured out how to do that yet.

But, if you’re in our neck of the woods, stop by and check out those warm hugs–aka–tried and trues from the menu. OR, take a chance and try something new. You won’t be wrong either way. Don’t feel like you need to come alone. Bring a friend. After all, history loves company.
