History Loves Dining Alfresco

What is it about a kick-ass patio, a cold beer, and a delicious lunch in the open air that just changes your mood instantly? We aren’t sure, but we can tell you one thing: we’re here for it. Our patio at No. 5 Bistro and Bar happens to be award-winning. (Yes, yes we did just drop a shameless plug.) But, don’t take our word for it. Even our dog agrees.

It’s getting closer and closer to patio season and we have a few new fun things for your entertainment while you dine with us on the patio. If cornhole is your jam, you’re in luck. If frustrating games of throw-a-round-piece-of-metal-onto-a-tiny-hook are more your style, well, please come try your hand!

Whatever you do, EAT! Dining alfresco is a term that dates back to the Italian 18th century. It literally means to eat in the fresh, open air. If you don’t grab a bite, well, then you’re just outside playing our games and drinking our beers. Ok, on second thought, that sounds pretty great, too.

But, in all seriousness, our lunch menu is a force to be reckoned with and our dinner menu equals happiness. Bring your buds, your gal pals, your lovers, and your friends, and enjoy a hearty lunch alfresco! After all, history loves company.
